Georgia is a passionate professional who enjoys helping people improve their health through their diet. A local at heart, Georgia trained and worked in Melbourne for 8 years before returning home to start Launceston Dietetics.
Georgia feels thoroughly rewarded working with individuals of all ages and with varying and complex nutritional and eating needs. Since becoming fully accredited she has undertaken additional training in specific areas of dietetics including food intolerances, paediatrics and eating disorders and always strives to stay up-to-date with the most recent advances in nutrition.
As well as providing expert nutrition advice to individuals, Georgia also mentors other dietitians and has been the chairperson of the Tasmanian sector of the Dietitian's Association of Australia.
Accredited Practising Dietitian, Accredited Sports Dietitian
Jaymeila (aka Jay) is Launceston born & bred. After graduating with a Masters of Dietetics in Adelaide she travelled to the Australian Institute of Sport to receive additional training and obtain her qualification as a Sport Dietitian. She is passionate about sports nutrition, positive body image, balanced eating and myth busting.
Jay loves nothing more than to use her passion for food and fitness to conduct presentations to sport groups & work with established and developing athletes. She is a voice of reason in the health and fitness world against masses of fanatics!
In addition to working with athletes Jay also provides a range of other dietetic services and in particular enjoys helping individuals who suffer from irritable bowel syndrome or anyone who wants to improve their gut health.
Accredited Practising Dietitian
Isabelle is the newest team member at Launceston Dietetics. Originally from Hobart, Isabelle studied in Launceston before completing a Master of Dietetics in Victoria.
With a strong background in mentoring, Isabelle is passionate about inspiring people to build confidence and skills to best manage their health. She has an interest in gut health, food intolerances, non-dieting for weight management and preventative nutrition. Her involvement in research into the role of specific nutrients for gut health has led to a commitment to staying up to date with nutrition research.
When she’s not cooking or enjoying the sunshine, Isabelle strives to improve her knowledge and encourages others to do the same. Isabelle is excited to be a part of the team at Launceston Dietetics and welcomes the chance to tailor her practice to suit individual needs.
